Biography

Rammstein formed in Berlin in 1994, emerging from the post-reunification East German underground scene. Their blend of industrial metal, electronic influences, and German language lyrics — delivered with a combination of power and dark humor — created a uniquely distinctive sound that found mainstream success across Europe and beyond.

Known for their spectacular live shows featuring massive pyrotechnic displays, fire-breathing, and provocative theatrical performances, Rammstein are one of the most spectacular live acts in modern music. Their self-titled 2019 album debuted at number one in multiple countries, demonstrating their enduring commercial appeal.
